An absolutely stunning mix of ethnic instrumnets blended with Guitars, percussion and drums.
Inventive, fresh, highly original and wonderfully tuneful and catchy. This is an album that is hard to put down and switch off. You want to leave it glued to cycle on your player. |

She thought, without exactly wording the thought, how strange and godlike was a composer's power, who from the grave could lead through sequences of emotion, which he alone had felt at first, a girl like her who had never heard of his name and never would have a clue to his personality......"
Thomas Hardy (Tess of the D'urbervilles)
When Karl passed away in 2007 we lost a very talented and gifted artist. Although I never had the privilege of knowing Karl we joined MG Music at the same time and our debut albums were released together.
Karl was highly respected by all of the MG artists who were his contemporaries and he lives on in his superb and vibrant music.
Although he left us only 2 albums, ("The Road to Tibet" and Namaste's "True Tai Chi") and the track "Crystal Fields" on the album "OM", every track is a unique treasure.
I find myself returning to his albums again and again not only for pleasure but also to admire the skill and craftsmanship that must have gone into writing and recording this music.
Luckily for us, Karl did not take all of his music with him and our world is a richer place for it.

Just finished my Gap year and come home from travelling across southern america. Fantastic album. If only I had had it on my IPOD it would have made the adventure of a lifetime even better. Can't wait for the follow up album.

Karl ... Many congratulations on your debut CD ... may there be many many more to follow.
This CD will be played to death I feel ... I just loved the continuity of the music throughout every track ... it flowed beautifully ... capturing a journey in an enigmatic way ... but keeping the essence of the journey as one ... one with the surroundings, one with the earth and one with the musicality.
Thank you also Medwyn, Wendy & Team for finding us yet another talented artist to join the MG Family
