Superb album. One of a kind. A unique fusion of classical orchestration and modern spacey synth textures. The first UK album to go no-1. in the USA NAV charts.
Goodall has perfectly captured the sensation of standing at a threshold... Stretching ahead of us is the immensity of space. The stars and our future. The music reflects our fascination with comets; the prophecies and the mystical unknown. Medwyn builds upon exquisite instrumental solos on classical guitar, oboe, flute and piano with orchestral layers and special effects to create a sense of vastness and bewilderment. Immensely creative and atmospheric, comet is a powerful journey through light and darkness |

What words can describe such a sensational album? The first time I listened to this album I picked up my paintbrushes and created some of my best work. 'Behold the darkness' and 'stargate' are my fave tracks. The stereo and effect are so intense and moving, reaching deep within to the soul. This album helps to bring a real conection to the cosmos. eerie and slightly dark, yet so uplifting and inspiring. love it

This album is so weird..and please don't get me wrong, I simply love it,but I had such an incredible expirience while listening this(many, many times) that it's hard to belive it or describe it. Maybe it was because I've listened it hundreds of times with my ex girlfriend and it was my first girlfriend and many of you know how's that like. I produce music also and I know the feeling when somebody likes it. It's great to hear it,cos it feeds your soul..But mister Medwyn..You changed my life,or at least made me see things different. How different..trust me I don't know. But you can be asured that you made a big difference in this world, in your life and life of many. There's just something about your music. Now k'mon,be honest, you've had a little help from little green's while making this album. Love you.

This CD has to be one of Medwyn's best offerings. It is difficult to have one favorite of all his recordings as each one shows a different side of his brillianc in musical interpretations. I can listen to this CD over and over again and not tire of it. Each time I pick up different messages and feel more and more of what the music is saying to me. A fine CD and just another wonderful experience in terms of sheer listening enjoyment. I am ah H.O.M. (Hooked on Medwyn) fan and am keeping my local CD shop in business buying his CDs.
Regards to all who are involved in producing and presenting his music to us.

One of my favorite Medwyn Albums. Very different from Med's other work - firstly, it is more orchestral, and secondly it seems 'darker' in mood. The scope of the music reflects the wonder of space very well. Very highly recommended.

Comet really strikes me, because on a spiritual level, the music really identifies with my yearning to explore things beyond our world. The classical guitar brings a peaceful balance to what is otherwise an insatiable sense of desire to unveil the mysteries of space.
