A Police Psycologist recomended that I listen to a CD she had. I took it home and it sat on my CD player for a while. I was going through a very bad time in my life alcoholism, divorce and about to lose my job as a State Police Officer. One evening after half a bottle of Gin I played the CD, thinking that the psycologist had to be crazy for telling me it would help me. What happened next was sheer magic. I felt the greatest peace that could had been experience. I carry that CD with me always, religiously and share it with persons who need peace and relaxation. Thank you Mr. Goodall for your brilliant talent. GQ NJ, USA

I had been looking for this CD and found it in a small shop one day while brousing thru the used CD section. It was in perfect condition, not a scratch or mark on it anywhere, so it went home with me immediately. Simply put this is another of Medwyn's masterpieces. So totally relaxing in a darkened room, that I have fallen into a "half-sleep" of sorts several times while listening to it. My favorite track is No. 6, Sun Drumming, it just doesn't get much better than that for me. I use to have a favorite CD of Medwyns but now several have all become my favorites as I can no longer pick just one from them. Each one is equally enchanting and musically scored to perfection, while at the same time being different in style. Just last week I bought a second (new this time) copy of this CD and gave it as a gift to a couple who are very close friends of mine. I told them to find a evening where they could take an hour or so, cuddle up on the couch, turn out the lights and listen thru the entire CD together. They had never heard of Medwyn or his music. They did exactly that and they thoroughly enjoyed that listening session and are now hooked on his music also. I have their Christmas, Birthday and Anniversay presents all picked out now for the next several years........
Thanks again Medwyn for another wonderful listening experience. I should have picked this one up a long time ago but now I do have it in my collection to enjoy for years to come.......

This CD is absolutely terrific. Gave this CD to my sisters daughter and play it when giving healing. She just loves it as do I. I ended up buying another one for myself and apparently others have heard it and love listening to it as well.

I recently bought this album at the Findhorn Community shop - basically because I liked the cover painting. I had no preconceptions of what the music would be like, no knowledge of the artist, and was prepared to be probably disappointed with some mediocre New Age guff. Synthesised pan pipes and cod Latin American percussion. But, hey ho...worth a try. I wasn't prepared to find myself listening to one of the most intensely beautiful, moving and technically brilliant albums I've ever discovered. And now one of my very favourite records. Track 3 - the melancholy melodic synthesiser underscoring on 'Temple Journey'- was the clincher. I sat up and thought 'this is something more than really special...' each track a revelation until the incredible build up of musical patterns on 'Healing Resurgence'. Stunning. This was the kind of instrumental gem which Mike Oldfield was cutting in the 70's - full of heart-ache, mystery and loveliness -(as well as a real sense of musical sensibility) - and that is the hugest compliment I can give it. The quality of this album is such that I was even thinking of bands like Sigur Ros and The Cure when listening to certain parts of it. There are spine-tingling moments of profound musical intelligence. I did feel that the album was defintely 'softened' though. I don't know if Medwyn would agree with me but there are sections where the synthesiser passages replace what should have been powerful, emotionally charged electric guitar breaks. The intensity of the music almost requires that. I feel them so much that I just imagine them there anyway. But absolute musical heaven would be a rock mix of 'Medicine Woman'. Anyway, I have a vast back catalogue to catch up on. Wow...

I first heard this album on a coach whilst touring the canyons in America and I just had to get a copy. I bough this one from a music store in Salt Lake City second hand as this was the only copy they had,by all accounts it is common practice for stores to sell secondhand Cd's.
Since buying Medicine Woman I have got the other 2 Medicine Woman and all the Spirit Cd's. The music is second to non

As a Professional Therapist, this never ceases to please my clients and has proved to be wonderful during Indian Head Massage treatments - and just the right length too. Medicine Woman is an all round healing treat!

A hauntingly beautiful CD from beginning to end., Every track captures the essence of the ancient Mayan people and the atmosphere of the rainforest. I especially love the bird calls incorporated into the music. Truly a winner!!!

This is THE one - The absolute classic Medwyn Goodall Album ! From the very first note of the flute on Invocation you are drawn into the Maya world. Every track is just fantastic but "Temple Journey" is especially wonderful . If I was only allowed to have one Med album this would be the one- there is no higher praise- if you already own it you know how good it is- if not, just buy it now !!! Truly indispensable
