Crafted from over 10 years of study, practice & teaching whilst being tested over a wide audience of enthusiasts throughout every stage of production this is a CD dedicated to the art of Reiki. The inspiration, spirit and musical influences of Japan blend with a uniquely composed series of tracks, each one devoted to the empowerment of the listener during their own practice or therapy. The spirit of reiki comes alive in this album with over 60 minutes of stirring instrumental music expressing concepts such as attunements, the individual reiki symbols and the acts of self and shared healing. Also included are 2 vocal tracks complete with sleeve notes of the Reiki principals spoken in Japanese and the correct pronunciation of the 4 Reiki symbols never before put together on a CD. This album was made to be of use during study, practice and teaching, as such, each track is mastered to give an unbroken flow of music regardless of what order you play or program the tracks. Each piece of music is appox 6 mins long with an identifiable but non intrusive melody which signals the change of hand positions for the less experienced.

A big "Well done" to Medwyn and the team - This is a wonderful CD. I don't use Reiki but the music is so good that it can be enjoyed on it's own merits as an Eastern sounding relaxation album. IT is always soothing, occasionally slightly mystical with the vocals (actually spoken reiki text) mixed so far down as to be unobtrusive for a casual listener. Overall a brilliant addition to the MG music catalogue and I would recommend it very highly both to reiki practioners and those ,like me, who simply like their music to be chilled but with class.

This CD is just amazing. It breathes reiki, resounds reiki, lives reiki, and is just TRUE REIKI in the simplest form. I was lucky to have a treatment to the CD and it just took me away to another level that even if I described fully would not go any way to give the right and just praise this CD deserves.
Adrian and Autumn's voices did not intrude into the session but again it felt the true meaning of reiki was alive in the CD.
It is also a lovely CD to just sit and listen to ... without the slightest knowledge of reiki, just for general relaxation and enjoyment ... it is a fine CD.
Congratulations Namaste on this just brilliant CD ... I am so looking forward to the rest of the series.

First review of this Cd since it's release, AWSOME. I don't practice Reiki but I do have regular treatments. From my point of view it allows you to relax and and absorb yourself in the treatment. One thing I noticed was that the vocals blend like Enigma so as not to intrude upon the senses whilst the simple tones and instrumentation enhance the feelings you get from a session, i might pick it up just to listen to but I would say to any practitioner that your clients will thank you for this one.

As inspirational as your first attunement. As true to the spirit of reiki as is musically possible.
I have been practicing Reiki for over 12 years and own most of the Music Cd's which profess to be suitable for the art. Even from the pre-release samples I was able to hear this one leaves them all behind. Suitable to be stimulating enough for academic study when turned up and subtle enough to be used during therapy when played at a more reasonable level. The addition of the spoken Japanese Reiki principals which have been wonderfully translated my Misuzu & Simon Foston & then wonderfully Spoken by Master Adrian & Autumn reveal a depth to this album that until now reiki enthusiasts have only hoped to hear. This is definately on my list of essential purchases for the year and as soon as samples are made for this webpage I urge you to listen and let the efforts of namaste speak for themselves.

It shows believe me, balancing the right blend of uplifting instrumentation with the deep body that up till now has been missing from Reiki music. I really like this music. It is very relaxing and easy to work with. I think it relaxes both the energy worker and the client nicely to open them up to the energy work. Some music is just too distracting but this is very easy and smooth. It is a compliment to the energy work of Reiki. Also is nice just for normal relaxation and would be great for meditation.

I was also privillidged enough to hear some of the tracks of this CD during production. What a lovely sound!!!! I wrote freeflow thought as the music was playing to see what my heart thought. "Soft, balanced, restful; feeling of another time, another place.. music to be played during attunements, meditation, simply to sit still and be with oneself..." I found I was brought back to my attunements with this music to that very same feeling of exhileration and other worldliness (if there is such a word!) I would dearly love to purchase a copy from you when it is all put together. I will have classes starting up in September for level I, and a healing circle as well, and can see this music as something that I would like to use for both. I truly could not hear anything that could be improved upon, since I listen to music always with my heart. Blessings and Light Ing

I had hoped the displayed sample would be of the spoken Japanese. I teach the language and am surprised to say that the pronounciation is beautifully done and even more surprising, could be played quite unintrusively during a therapy session, Well done Namaste.

What will and what does make this album truly special is the attention to detail that has been put into the music. So often with other Cd's, even those by New World, the mind drifts away on the notes and you forget you are there to do reiki. With this album, even in the early stages of production, you can hear that the music emulates reiki, tradition and focus; so even if the music does carry you away, your still flowing down the reiki path.

Oh I have been looking so forward and am filled with great joy upon the creation of such music as this, “True Reiki”.. how I have always felt music, so deeply, and have been upon hope that I would someday embrace music as this. I have been upon the reiki path, lifelong reflects in me, while introduced in 2002, first attuned in 2003, while upon this lifelong journey, of healing.. “True Reiki” is music that is more than simply for, more than dedicated, and more even than true to.. for it simply is, truly reiki, in it’s purest sense.. It is the energy of reiki, flowing upon vibrations, tones, emotions and energies.. created and born, in the heart of the source.. this is, true reiki.. Upon it’s simple tones.. vibrations.. simple, while rich, vibrant and warm, the tones in and of the movements of reiki, upon a pure sounding, of reiki energy.. upon the energies within the music of these samples created by these endeavoring here, and all very deeply gifted, how I would first like to thank you all to have shared thus, to have been given the pleasure and honour to receive these samples of music upon such.. I bow, namaste, and I write, now share here I shall, as well.. I have found this music to be all embracing, upon emotions, reflecting and releasing, and for how emotion is part of who and what we are.. this music does unbind and open our energies and therefore as well, emotions within us, gently while upon a delicate yet beautiful blossoming upon such energy flowing.. the voice that becomes our voice, how it resonates within heart, and soul, tones and vibrations that merge with our very own tones and vibrations, opening us up to our emotions, our inner selves, to flow upon the energy, one and the same, for this is the energy and vibration of reiki, unlocking ourselves from our bindings within.. to lay ourselves upon, reiki.. in healing harmony.. soothing, transforming, healing.. While upon a shared moment, I think no two shall hear this music the same as another.. for while it is so very dedicated and true, how just as the very energies we are made of, even upon this very moment, shall differ, and while upon study, or practice, or teaching.. how we are all learning and healing, always. Individually, and shared.. and It's why I love to listen, again and again.. this music is so very unique, oh more than dedicated and true, as it morphs, or evolves, just as we do.. empowering, for as we shall just simply upon the tones, the vibrations, upon the energy of reiki, healing and empowering upon our most deep and inner workings, it is upon all levels.. How I love the ocean, it’s vast energies with depths unknown.. so share a vision here.. this music washes over me while within, and upon my very being, deeply cleansing in such pure energy.. submersing in the waters of reiki, it is more than just upon the surface.. it feels cleansing while nourishing, vibrations that play upon and transform and heal, as well empower, deeply upon all of our energies that be. Reflecting, embracing, harmonizing, attuning, deeply healing.. I feel music, deeply and in ways perhaps, unique to me.. while we all do, of course.. yet while for every action, for every sound, there is a reaction.. of such energy.. the vibrations.. well if you will follow me... again to the ocean, skip a stone upon a tranquil sea.. shall differ, from if you skip that very same stone, upon a stormy sea.. so what exists within and of the sea, (our energies) shall receive the stone (this music).. uniquely upon the moment in which it is received.. deepening tranquility and peace and love, a deepening of healing upon all, as it is received.. and no matter the condition of the sea, tranquil or stormy.. this music is still one and the same, created and born within the very heart of reiki and it does inspire healing, uniquely upon all seas of energies.. oh this is true reiki energy.. pure.. healing as needs be, upon the very moment.. whatever needs be. This is what I do imply when I stated, it morphs, or evolves.. for it is in actuality, our own selves.. I know this review grows long, tho I would like to lastly share an experience I’ve recently had. I have meditated upon this music while energies within me have been in motion.. upon stillness.. upon sadness.. upon joy.. upon and of, many movements.. simply flowing, releasing, while feeling.. chords, striking.. tones, vibrating.. reiki, moving through me, while listening.. feeling within my heart.. more deeply.. while I also found, the energy so strong and pure flowing through me after a listening, that even others around me, well it was like entrancing those around me. How people I did not even know, smiled and were drawn, brightened and reflected, the peaceful, beautiful and warm energy that I was radiating having spent some time in self-healing upon and within this music. I have never used music during my therapies or practices as I have found it distracting and disruptive. I used to believe that you could never fully trancend the barriers between music and Reiki. If any Cd is going to change my mind this is going to be the one. So far I have heard a test sample, this puts me in mind of such concepts as the symbols and the time spent self healing, I eagerly await more samples and ultimately, the release of the CD.

I had the privilege of meeting Peter King in person at my place of work this afternoon. I feel I can better understand where this music comes from and why the "True" series is destined to leave all other therapy albums running to catch up. I practice a number of therapies one of which is Reiki; even though he asked me not to write this I am going to anyway. In Peter I see the teacher many of us would strive to become, not only of Reiki but of a multitude of different therapies of which his knowledge and enthusiasm is second to none. From this he has clearly inspired Paul Lawler and Medwyn Goodall to create something that will be a tribute to the arts the music represents and a long awaited tool for any therapist, teacher or student. I'll be first in line for this album upon its release
